We help MEN turn their PAIN into PURPOSE

SYSTEMS THINKING / BODY FOCUSED / SCIENCE BASED

Men are in Pain…

And often feel shame in reaching out for help. Men have been acculturated to value self sufficiency, avoidance, domination, compliance, numbing and any host of unhelpful strategies to deal with their life's circumstances and relationships.

Men today are nearly four times as likely to commit suicide than women. Men were already less likely to have close friends before loneliness was considered at epidemic levels.

Yet men often try to “Loan Wolf” their way to figuring out their troubles.

If you are reading this… you may…

  • feel lost, anxious or unmotivated in your daily life.

  • want to “be more” for your family but feel trapped in old patterns of self sabotage and numbing.

  • find yourself trying to be what others want you to be, with little clarity of what you want.

All of these ways of being and feeling are common among men today. Men often find themselves lacking the resources and outlets necessary for emotional connection and personal growth.

Community and Coaching as Medicine

The age of the Loan Wolf is over… We need community in order to be the best version of ourselves, which is what our families and the world needs from us.

Men’s Work TX is a safe and challenging community of men in Texas. We simultaneously offer deep compassion while calling each other to live from our highest Self. There are no Guru’s in this community, only “player coaches”. We walk through a labyrinth of topics together, designed to help each of us live out our self defined values with accountability.

We exist as a counter system to the trauma laden way of being a man in today’s world. Our focus is on being deeply connected with ourselves, families and the natural world in a healing and generative way.

  • I had the pleasure of working with Aaron during one of the most difficult periods of my life. His approach is straightforward and calm. It's comfortable. But he'll also give you the tough love you need. It was exactly what I needed during that period of my life. I wouldn't be where I am today without his support. If you're a man, and you're avoidant of counseling for any number of reasons, I'd highly recommend him. Just do it. You won't regret it.
